Google Admits It Censored Conservatives for the Biden Administration This is the most widespread and devastating campaign against free speech in modern times. And, unless prosecutions and lawsuits are coming, no conservative should ever talk about this new “policy change” from Google ever again. It’s meaningless. It’s an effort to buy time until they can censor more conservatives if and when the Left retakes control of the federal government. Read more here. $1M Fines for Social Media Amplifying Hateful Content California’s legislature has advanced Senate Bill 771 and it’s heading to Governor Newsom’s desk. The measure is aimed at holding social media platforms accountable for the algorithmic amplification of “hateful content.” Read more here. Query: this may sound good, but there are plenty of people in California who think conservative speech is ‘hateful’. Will this law be used to censor conservatives? Supreme Court to open term hearing case over what lawyers may discuss with testifying clients The Supreme Court will begin its 2025-26 term with the justices hearing a case over whether blocking a lawyer from speaking with his client about that client’s testimony during overnight recess of the court is unconstitutional. Justice Barrett Makes Her Case “Supreme Court Justice, Amy Comey Barrett, discusses her new book, Listening To The Law, on how the Court operates and on how she understands her role . . . . As the book’s title suggests, Barrett recognizes that a justice must be a servant of the law, discerning and obeying its commands, rather than a master who refashions the law to impose her own will.” Read more here. She explains that socialism is thought to be a viable option for the U. S. among some in younger generations because the wisdom of the Founding Fathers - and the direct link that exists between faith and long-term liberty for the individual - is not being taught in public schools.
