Not A Joke: Dems Hatch Plan To Disqualify Every Single Trump Electoral Vote
Two former editors-in-chief of the Columbia Law Review and the Yale Law Journal, respectively, showcased their authoritarian sensibilities by urging Congress to invoke the 1887 Electoral Count Act and invalidate President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the Electoral College. The National Marine Fisheries Service Violated the Appointments Clause of the U.S. Constitution
The New England Fishermen’s Stewardship Association (NEFSA) challenged the constitutionality of U.S. fishery management councils in September 2023 in a lawsuit against the U.S. government and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). NEFSA claimed the appointment process for council members was unconstitutional and violated the Appointments Clause of the U.S. Constitution as it allowed undemocratically elected members of the council to make decisions.  A U.S. District Court has ruled in favor of the NEFSA.  Read the story here.
